Airships are used by Younglings to travel the Cosmos. They typically resemble watercraft, with a hull, deck and sails, though there are a couple of different designs that can be seen in Grow: Song of the Evertree.
The most common type (pictured at right) can often be seen in the distant sky circling Alaria and the Evertree. Rarely, this model can even be seen docked at an Airship Dock or even found buried in a mysterious cave. This style has a yellow wood hull, with a very rounded and deep keel, portholes along the side, including in the keel, and a fully enclosed cabin. There are large giant wing-like sails on each side aft, and the prow sports an interesting stylized figurehead. The cabin is painted with pastel blue and yellow triangles. The overall design is quite reminiscent of the rest of the buildings built by the Everkin, which fits in with the lore that they are craftsmen of all sorts with unusual skills and talents who like to trade with the Aerum.
The second style of Airship is typically spotted hovering over Traderkin, the trading Everkin, as they sell their wares on a World crafted by the Apprentice. This style of Airship mostly resembles a large whale, with an open cabin for the pilot, and fin-like sails on each side and aft of the ship. Four large balloons are tethered by a rope and harness, presumably to keep the ship afloat in the air. The pattern of triangles painted on the balloons once again suggest that this is Everkin construction.
