Grow Song of The Evertree Wiki

Customization is how the Apprentice can decorate and improve the Buildings they place in Towns. They can alter the colours and patterns of exterior walls, add decorations to the tops of the structure, add flower boxes, mailboxes and even little houses for pets! They can also modify certain attributes of their Buildings, such as how many Residents it can hold, through the use of Tokens.

    Wallpapers

Wallpapers are used to colour the roof, walls and skirting of Buildings in the Town areas. It costs 20 Myora to set or change the Wallpaper, and changing to a different colour or pattern will refund the currently used item (but not the Myora cost to do so).

It can be found as random drops when harvesting, as rewards from Chests and Goals and can be purchased from the General Store for Myora. There are currently 26 different wallpapers available, with three themed wallpapers from each of the 6 World Biomes, and 8 basic colours.

    Decorations

Many buildings can not only have their walls painted, but they can also have extra decorations added to the roof or front or sides of the building. The following buildings have roof or front/side decorations, see their specific webpage for more information:

    Flower Boxes

There are two different groups of Flower Boxes - One for windows, which fit on Small Houses, Large Houses and Flower Shops. The other kind is specifically a display for outside the Florist shop and only fits in the second Flower Box slot of the Flower Shop. The Flower Boxes and Pots contain two or three bi-coloured flowering bushes, some trimmed into rounded bushes while others seem to be spilling out. The Flower Shop-specific displays have a variety of flowers growing in them (except the Empty Wheelbarrow, of course, which is, as the name suggests, empty.)

    Pet House

There is only one kind of Pet House and it only fits small Critters. They can be found as random drops (rarely) or purchased from the Critter Center or from Traderkin in Where-Ever.

    Building Tokens

Building Tokens are another way to customize Buildings. The Apprentice can use Tokens to increase the number of people the building can house or employ, or to generate more , or even make Visitors and Residents happier. Tokens can be found as purchasable rewards from the Festival traders, or as rare drops from Chests. The most common of these items can also be purchased from the General Store or Flower Shop. Assigning a Token to a building takes up one Token slot -- most Buildings have four Token slots. Filling all the available Token slots is necessary to make the Building rating three stars.
