Starting on the eighth day, and then randomly each day thereafter, two other-worldly beings, Bisha and Bosha, set up a tent on the Festival Grounds and celebrate Observance Days, "a time for all to reflect and enjoy the wonders of life, and our place within the universe."

For the duration of that day, participating in the events of that festival will reward the Apprentice with event tickets specific to that particular festival. Bisha and Bosha offer six different randomly-selected prizes each festival day, which can be earned with anywhere from 2 to 50 tickets. Prizes can include clothing, Hairstyles, Hair Dyes, Keys, Alchemical Batteries, Essences, and even a special Statue which can be placed as a decoration in a Town.
There are 8 different Observance Days, and talking to Bisha will reveal a little about each one. Book will also announce the Observance Day if one is happening that day, during the morning's daily report.
- Act Like a Squirrel Day - "On this day we act like the spritely squirrel and emulate its insatiable appetite for fresh nuts. Delicious." (collect Nuts).
- Boulder Bashing Day - "We break boulders, and as we do so, we reflect on how glad we are it's happening to the boulders, and not us." (smash Boulders or Mineral Nodes -- Rocks do not count, nor does smashing rubble.)
- Fanciful Fruit Day - "On this day, friend, the fruits of your labor are literal fruits. How convenient. Happy picking!" (collect Fruit).
- Fish Finding Day - "You catch fish today. Try not to think about the wrath this might incur from the great Cosmic Salmon." (catch Fish).
- Insect Appreciation Day - "On this day we honor the great Sky Beetle. We do this by catching his many, many children, for some reason." (capture Insects)
- Interdimensional Smile Day - "Today, beings across the multiverse will work together to make others happy. It's nice everywhere at once." (complete Resident Requests or give them items).
- Seed Day - "To celebrate our love for our humble lands, today we gather and plant as many seeds as we can. You dig it?" (plant Seeds -- World Seeds do not count for this.)
- Weed Whacking Day - "Oh yes. This day. We may have made this one up because we hate weeds so much." (pull Weeds -- scything does not count)

Notes
- Book will notify the Apprentice about any Observance Day occurring that day when the Apprentice wakes up. Book's comments can also be helpful to determine how to fulfill the Festival goals.
- On any festival day, balloons can be seen floating up from the ground when the Apprentice is in the Town area.
- On Observance Days that involve collecting items, tickets will also be awarded for collecting those items from Everkid harvest boxes (Fruits, Nuts, Fish, and Insects only).
- No more than 99 tickets of each kind can be held at a time.
- Insect and Fish collection are the easiest to max out tickets with, as they can both be harvested in Where-Ever, where time does not pass. Insects are also easy to catch in Nature Reserves because they respawn almost instantly, making it so the Apprentice never has to move.
- Tickets can be held on to and spent on another day with the same festival theme.
- On Interdimensional Smile Day, giving costume items to residents can generate two tickets each: one for the gift itself and one for sprucing up their wardrobe. Likewise, giving them a skill boost that maximizes their skill can also give double or even triple tickets!
- There was a "Critter Care Day" planned, but it does not appear to be active at this time.
