A Biome is the collection of related characteristics and assets such as Flora, Fauna, Terrain Features, and other natural, randomly-generated elements of each World which define that World's appearance. There are six different Biomes in Grow: Song of the Evertree. A World grown from a Perfect Seed has only one Biome influencing its design, but other Worlds can have as many five different Biomes blending their elements to make each World unique.
Each Biome has a colour and sound palette that helps define its overall appearance. Certain elements — like the Fauna, consisting of Critters, Fish, and Insects — are fairly universal, in that any colour combination and most body types can appear on any World. Other elements, like Flowers, Grass, Shrubs, and Trees, as well as inanimate Points of Interest, Terrain Features, and even Boulders and Rocks, are particular to each Biome, but may blend features with another Biome on Worlds whose World Seeds were crafted using Essences associated with more than one Biome. Weather is also partially determined by Biome — dust storms on Desert Worlds and snow on Frozen ones, for example; while weather events can occur on each World, that weather may not correspond with what is happening in Alaria or on any other World.

Notes
- Technically, there are two other Biomes: The Where-Ever and Alaria each have their own Biome definitions in the game code, controlling what grows there.
- Local flora in Alaria can be overridden in a District by specifying new groundcover Grass, Shrubs, Flowers and Trees at the Town Square's Harmony Stone. Those definitions end at the borders of the District, except in the Nature Reserve, which will override the District's Trees, Shrubs and Flowers (but not its groundcover Grass).
