Building Upgrades are found in the world of Alaria in Chests, by Fishing in glowing spots, by operating Lucky Boxes, and by farming Resources on Worlds. They are used to upgrade Buildings that the Apprentice built in order to produce more Myora. These Upgrades will only drop once the Apprentice has unlocked their respective Building's blueprints and built at least one copy of the building.
Once the Apprentice collects 30 of these Upgrades, this will complete a Goal in Book. The Goal listing in Book must be clicked on to activate the Building Upgrade, as otherwise more Upgrade items for that Building type will continue to drop.

Notes
- Any Upgrade items collected beyond 30 are useless; they cannot be broken down for Essence or sold.
- Once the Apprentice has completed a set by clicking the goal in Book to complete the upgrade, that item will not drop again and will disapear out of the Apprentice's Inventory. This will free up the drop rates for other Upgrades which have not been completed yet.
- For the Ranch, there are three versions of the Ranch Toy, but all three count together towards the 30 goal.
