The Vault of Renewal is the seventh Vault the Apprentice enters in search of lost fragments of the Song of Myora. Located in Mountainside Ward to the southwest of the Town Square, the Vault's grand entrance can be found across a a small lake and accessed by hopping across a path of lilypads over deep water.
For those Apprentices less-confident in platforming, the Vault entrance can also be reached by jumping along the rocky perimeter of the lake's left side or dropping from above via the gap between the tall flat-capped mushroom and the smaller round shroom in the included vault entrance picture.
The interior of this vault takes the form of a maze split into four regions, each requiring the retrieval of a keystone alongside lesser prizes including chests and an Everkid. After all four keystones are retrieved a stone door will retract, allowing recovery of the missing song piece from the dais at the far end of the cavern.
Like all Vaults, time does not pass while inside the Vault, so the Apprentice can take their time navigating the labyrinth.
Walkthrough
After retrieving and returning all four keystones (along with pilfering any chests encountered in the trips through each quadrant) the locked stone door at the far end of the cavern will unlock, allowing the Apprentice to reach the Dais holding the Song Fragment of Restoration. Once collected, return down the ramp and exit the Vault through the grand entrance. |
