The Bakery is one of many Buildings that can be placed in the Apprentice's Towns. It is a 1-story business with a vaulted ceiling. The interior of the Bakery is that of a successful small bakery -- with a sales counter up front displaying numerous baked goods ostensibly for sale. There's a large oven in the back, along with a kitchen/prep area. There are several active hotspots that generate humourous messages or small amounts of Myora. There is nothing for the player to purchase in the Bakery.
The Bakery can have up to two Residents as employees, but only one slot is unlocked at first. As it is required to progress the initial plot, the Bakery is available as soon as the Apprentice is able to build Buildings.
The Bakery can be customised in a number of ways. The roof, walls and skirting can each be painted with various Wallpapers. In the second screenshot in the infobox, the roof is red, the walls are green and the skirting is blue. There are four Token slots to fill, and one of 3 front decorations or 5 roof decorations can be added for extra flavour (see gallery below).
