The Bathhouse is one of many Buildings that can be placed in the player's Towns. It's a large building (one of the largest in the game), stylized like east Asian architecture, with sloping roofs and a stonework base. Two crossed giant bath ladles overhang the entrance. There is water flowing from sluices and the ladles into two ponds that flank the stairs to the door.
Inside is a single large room with a large communal pool, filled with rubber ducks and beach balls (another beach ball rolls around loose). In the back are two separate changing / bathing rooms. To the sides are inaccessible rooms covered by curtains, but by peeking through, it can be seen that there are smaller rock pools in each of those side rooms. There is a single counter in the back with items the Apprentice can purchase -- a random assortment of 4 different Resident Tokens, which can include anything from name changes to skill modifiers to complete skill overhauls. These products only appear if the shop is staffed, and the available stock will refresh and change randomly every day. Around the Bathhouse, there are also a couple of active hotspots that generate interesting messages.
The Bathhouse can have up to four Residents as workers, but only one slot is unlocked at first. The Bathhouse is not available at the start and the blueprint must be unlocked by collecting 50 Wood and 60 Stone and also unlocking 3 different Districts.
The Bathhouse can be customised by painting the roof, walls and skirting with various Wallpapers. In the second screenshot in the infobox, the roof is red, the skirting is blue and the walls are green. Note that the skirting here is the middle section instead of the bottom. There are four Token slots to fill to modify other building properties.
