The Community Gardens is one of many Buildings that can be placed in the Apprentice's Towns. It's a small, open space enclosed by a wooden split-rail fence, with a single, small red shed in the back. There are six raised bed gardens, in which many mushrooms and colourful plants can be seen, but not harvested. There is no accessible interior to the main building. There is nothing for the Apprentice to purchase in the Community Gardens, and only a couple of active hotspots that generate humourous messages.
The Community Gardens can have up to two Residents as workers, but only one slot is unlocked at first. The Community Gardens is available from the very beginning, and it's required to build a few to unlock certain other buildings.
The Community Gardens can be customised in a number of ways. The roof, walls and skirting can each be painted with various Wallpapers. In the second screenshot in the infobox, the roof is red, the walls are green and the skirting is blue. (Note that the main building starts out a slightly different shade of red than if the red Wallpaper is used). There are two Token slots to fill to modify other building properties.
