The General Store is one of many Buildings that can be placed in the player's Towns. It's a one-story business with a vaulted roof. The inside is an open display room with a cash register to one side, and many shelves and crates displaying items for sale, some of which the Apprentice can actually buy for 
. Around the shop, there are also a few active hotspots that generate humourous messages or Myora. When staffed, two small tables on the sides have a random selection of Wallpapers for sale, while a third table by the door has 4 Tokens or other Consumable items for sale, selected from the following:
- Iron Key - 60 Myora
- Gold Key - 150 Myora
- Alchemy Battery - 150 Myora
- Now Hiring Token - 75 Myora
- Rapid Expansion Token - 150 Myora
- Three's a Crowd - 150 Myora
- Ancient Coin (Signa) - 50 Myora
- Ancient Coin (Firus) - 100 Myora
These products only appear if the shop is staffed, and the available stock will refresh and change randomly every day.
The General Store is also the only building that can have Lucky Boxes. When placed, each box will take up one of four locations on the front porch of the store (up to four can be placed per General Store). Lucky Boxes cost one Ancient Coin (Signa) for each use, and generate a random consumable, hair, eyewear or costume piece. Once used, the Lucky Box cannot be used again until the next day.
The General Store can have up to three Residents as workers, but only one slot is unlocked at first. The General Store is not available at the start and the blueprint must be unlocked by collecting 20 Nuts and 20 Fruit. Everkid harvests can contribute to this collection.
The General Store can be customised in a number of ways. The roof, walls and skirting can each be painted with various Wallpapers. In the second screenshot in the infobox, the roof is red, the walls are green and the skirting is blue. There are four Token slots to fill. See gallery below.
