The Town Square is the center of every Town, and is the only building that can be modified but not moved. As each Town is unlocked, the player gains access to the Town Square fast travel via Kazumi, as well as an Everkin Door (once they've been unlocked).

The Town Square is a small park area, featuring two strips of groundcover Grass with several benches, some planters with Shrubs and Trees, and a few random Flowers. The center of the square (which is actually a paved oval area) is dominated by the Town's Harmony Stone, a large, white, egg-shaped object with several stones embedded in it that light up when certain goals have been met ("achieving Harmony").

The Town Square can be customised once the Town has achieved 100% Harmony. The Apprentice can choose to modify the Flowers, Shrubs, Trees or Grass, by using seeds, fruit, nuts, and whole plants harvested from Worlds planted in the branches of the Evertree. The resulting Flora will alter any of the cosmetic tree, flower and shrub Plots placed by the Apprentice within the Town's limits, and will also affect the appearance of the grass throughout the entire District. Usually, these plants are cosmetic-only, and cannot be harvested (though there are some notable exceptions like the trees on either side of the Meadow Quarters Everkin Door.) Note that both large and regular tree plots will both be modified if the Town Square is customised with a different fruit. The Large Tree Plots will grow mega versions of the tree, while Tree Plots will just grow regular-sized trees of the same species.
